In 2019 my family went to Hot springs AK and went boating. This is a picture of me and my siblings after a hike.
This picture was taken of one of the exact rockets that was launched in the United states, and that now is on display outside of the Huntsville National rocket center.
This picture is also in Huntsville and is the fastest non-Rocket powered Aircraft in the world. Named the A-12 oxcart, it travels to speeds of over 2,200 MPH and is faster than the speed of sound. This picture is of my friends and I.
My family visited the kotel for pesach 2018 with my Cousins and grandparents.
For pesach, in the spring my family visited Switzerland on the way to Israel. In this photo, we were walking by Lake Lucerne in the swiss town of Lucerne. There were beautiful antique shops, stores, and the alps and gorgeous scenery in the background as well.
As part of our trip to Panama City, Panama, we went to a dock to walk around and look at the culture of the city, the boats and the restaurants. In this photo I am with my younger sister.
The panama canal is the most crucial part of transportating objects trans-ocean and in this photo a massive ship carrying its contents is displayed. Over thousands of ships like these, pass through the canal each containing hundreds of thousands of tons of produce.
Another giant of its' kind, this ship is even bigger than the previous and is shown with me in the photo.
This is a photo of my family standing beside the Panama sign in Panama city, when we visited.
My family was in Quito, Equador, during our Panama, Equador and Amazon trip. This photo is taken of me when I was on top of the 9,000 feet elevation of Quito.
In this photo I am jumping up for fun and also admiring the view.
While we were visiting Quito, Equador, we went to the equator. 20 miles north of quito, the country Equador is named after the equator being here. It was truly a cool place and I certainly remember it.
In this photo, my siblings and I found a very unique plant. At first we didn't know what it was, but turns out, it was a cacao pod!
The sacha lodge, where we were staying in the Amazon, had the only canopy bridge in all of Equador. It was the most beautiful sight and you could see any birds, falcons, monkeys, sloths and so much more, from the trees beneath you. In this photo we are of course admiring the view while walking across.
While we were on one of our night-hikes in the Amazon, we came across a beautiful glass frog.
One of the days we were at the lodge, we visited this foreign Amazon tribe. They are so distant from the outside world, that they visit Coca, Equador once a year at most, and Quito, once in their lifetime! It was truly a memorable experience, where we got to learn about their cultures and many foods they eat. In this photo, I am trying a Yucca like plant.
While we were at the tribe, the native people showed us the larvaes they eat. Though we did not eat it, because they weren't kosher and it was disgusting, our tour guide did. This is a video of him eating the bug.
On lake Pilchocha, we went Piranha fishing and my dad caught a large Piranha. We later cooked it up with the help of the tour guide since it was kosher, and then they took the jaw out to keep as a souvenir of the front and bottom set of teeth. As of today, we still have it!
One of my favorite things my family visited in our excursions from the Amazon Lodge, was this giant tree native to equado. It was taller than 150 feet, and protrudes all the way up in the air through the Amazon canopy. I forgot the name of this tree, but one thing I can tell you, is that this tree would need 50 grown men to wrap around it, until they finally made a circle around it.
In this photo, we are visiting the Israeli Shuk with my siblings and my mom, and are enjoying the spices and everything around us.
We are simply enjoying the beautiful sunset of lake Pilchicocha in the Amazon.
Per our trip to Lucerne Switzerland, our family enjoyed strollling along the streets of Lucerne with the Swiss Alps in the distance. In this image, we had someone take a family photo.
To get to the Amazon, our family first needed to fly to Quito. From there, we took a domestic flight to Coca Equador, hopped on a 3 hour speed-boat on the Rio Napo river , take a 30 minute hike to lake Pilchicocha, and finally, canoe across the lake until we got to our sight. In this photo, we are just getting off the plane, ready for the big adventure still ahead of us.
During our trip to Equadorian Amazon, we went on a few night hikes in the rainforest. On this particular occasion, we met a giant and hairy tarantula. (We happened to see a second one in our lodges' bathroom)
After a nice walk along the beach with my mom, I sat down to admire the beautiful turqouise Miami bay water, and the boats passing through.
